For nine years, our home bar was the illustrious Ship of Fools Bar & Grill, located at 1590 Second Ave (bet 82nd and 83rd), NY, NY. Under the guidance of Glenn Treacher, Ship of Fools was the 2002 and 2003 Winner for Best Sports Bar in NYC and one of the best places in NYC to play darts. On April 4th, 2011, Ship of Fools closed its doors, and the team temporarily played out ofBlackstone's Pub and Restaurant at 245 East 55th Street.
Our new home is Society Billiards + Bar, at 10 East 21st Street. For many reasons, we are psyched to be playing here. First and foremost, it is not a typical "darts bar," but a classicand classy pool hall. There is a darts section that we will use which is very cool. A little nook that is ideally set up for our weekly game. Plus, there are TV's everywhere, a stocked bar, and a menu full of paninis. Thanks to Doug for hooking us up.
